Tuesday...:
After a good night's rest we did some more painting....half of our group went to a school to paint a couple classroom buildings while the other half stayed at the church to finish painting the sanctuary and the backstage room. The PA group did VBS again on Tuesday.
I was with the group at the school and we had a lot of fun painting walls and cleaning windows....
That afternoon our group split into 3...a small group of girls went to visit a young lady from the church who'd just had a baby, another group went on a prayer walk around the church and also handed out flyers about VBS and the last group went to a nursing home. The PA group went to a sport's camp over by the beach.
I went with the group to the nursing home...we sang a few songs (in English and Spanish). We had a great time fellowshipping and hearing stories...so much fun that we were late getting back to the church...
We found out when we got back that the PA group did one of the crafts we were planning on doing for VBS on Thursday, so we made a trip to WalMart...it was interesting going to a WalMart in a different country, but it was pretty much the same. With the exception of the security guy outside in a little post...you'll have to find the picture on FB.
*tomorrow: VBS!!!! & Going to the sports camp....
