Another Gpa Bill.

Hey everyone,
My Parents drove to IL this weekend to surprise my Grandpa and visit him...Here's the update via email that I got from mom:

"We met Alaina down the road from the hospital and she walked in with us. This hospital is very confusing. He was sitting in a chair, he looked kind of rough, mostly because his hair was very messy. (He did have a comb, he told grandma later that he didn't have a mirror so he wasn't worried about it.) He really seemed to perk up when he saw us, and more as the day went on. Each time a doctor came in the room, we left, he didn't say anything when we got back into the room. Grandma Janet, June & Aunt Chris, all came in at the same time about an hour after we got there. All were suprised because we only told Alaina that we were coming. We stayed till around 1ish, took Alaina and Gma to lunch. We got back and Gpa was sleeping around 3 and stayed until 6:30. While we were at lunch they changed out his chest tube because it was full. I don't know why it is called a chest tube cause it is actually inserted in the back (kind of to one side). It's about as big around as your pinkie. Diane (Mom's Sister) told me that it really is painful, because you are pretty much laying on it. They were limiting his liquids, which didn't make him happy. Iit was kind of cute cause he was making sure he didn't leave any liquids behind in his meals (soup, fruit, etc.). He did get some water, but not much. Gma said he will go almost all day and not drink much but maybe a cup or two of coffee. Again, I think it was because they said he couldn't have it.
We called last night and they said they were putting a shunt in so that the fluids would drain to the intestines like they should. Dad will call tonight, I will let you know if he finds out anything else."

So there's the latest...thanks again to everyone who's been keeping him in their thoughts & prayers, it is very much appreciated...

I love y'all!
